You can take part in CalNEXT’s pilot program to upgrade your community’s homes to modern, energy-efficient 120V electric appliances. Choose to take our training and volunteer, and if you are a homeowner, you may receive new appliances to update your home depending on location. Either way, you will have the opportunity to learn more about 120V electrification and help your community be part of California’s clean energy future.
Homeowners and community volunteers attend contractor led trainings, learn how to upgrade their own household, and participate in other community electrification projects.
CalNEXT will provide education, training, and available financial incentives to increase the adoption of 120V electric appliances.
Contractors will be partnered with homeowners and community volunteers on electrification projects.
Eligible 120V appliances include:
(packaged, not portable)
(including combo, stacked, and regular)
Some restrictions apply. Limited spots available. First-come basis while funding lasts.
At this time, servicing Los Banos and Santa Barbara. Please inquire if this pilot is available to your community.
